I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, and after reading it, I am crossing my fingers in hopes that the author will create a whole series of books featuring our most beloved and well known fairy tales, all dealing with the lives of these characters after the "Happily Ever After".

In this book, Snow White is mourning the death of Charming, so in despair that her daughter Raven's upcoming wedding means little in the face of the Queen's misery. Until the day the heartsick Snow happens upon the magic mirror that her wicked stepmother was so long obsessed with. In its surface she will relive key points in her past so that she might reflect upon her life and, hopefully, learn to live again.

David Meredith has woven a brilliant, poignant, emotion heavy tapestry that reminds us to live and love every day, and to never forget the ones we have lost and the ones still with us. Beautiful.
