I give it 5 Stars!

I was given the opportunity to read this book as part of the Blog Tour, and I had a strong suspicion that it would be a fun read. I was delighted to find that I wasn't wrong.

Billy Lovecraft is a 12 year old boy with an awful secret and a dangerous legacy left behind by his parents after their untimely demise. Armed with a warning and a gruesome, frightening photo of what possibly killed his parents (a nod to the Twilight Zone?), Billy approaches a group of his fellow students with a proposition and a hope. Let's form the Cthulhu Detective Squad for real!

With plenty of money from an insurance settlement to fund their wild expeditions, Billy teams up with his new friends to solve his parents' murder and learn the secrets of the second basement.

BILLY LOVECRAFT SAVES the WORLD is funny and clever, full of Lovecraftian horror for the middle-grade  reader, but also for just about anyone who wants to enjoy an action-adventure told from a 12 year old's viewpoint. I highly recommend this one!

  1. I am adding this to my TBR. I loved it from the blurb alone - knowing that he has a picture of something horrible and that's all he has to go on already has me wanting to read the book. Then we also get a very good review and knowing that it is funny? Give, please!
