I received 3 books in the Sunshine series from the author in exchange for my honest review and the first thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous cover art! I was hopeful the insides would be as stunning as the jacket and I wasn't disappointed.
SUNSHINE is what teenager Sophie is allergic to. Deathly. It burns her eyes, blisters her skin, and no treatment or diagnosis has been found. That doesn't stop her uppity mother from trying though - only it isn't out of love for her daughter that she seeks a cure, so when Sophie is grievously injured by a careless doctor, she's not sad that it is time to move out.
Deeply troubled and aloof as a result, she pushes the new boy away. No matter that he's cute, and friendly, and really seems to want to be her friend. But when he says he's suffered the same affliction as she, she can't help but be intrigued!
SUNSHINE is the start to an amazing series that looks as good as it is.
