I was gifted a copy of this short story in exchange for my honest review and I knew immediately that I was going to love it. The title, the cover, the subject... And the writing is witty, fun, dark, and humorous and I was so sad when it was over but delighted that a trilogy shall follow!
In I AM BECOME ZOMBIE, we are taken along for the oft bumpy ride that our anti-hero, a once living slacker and now a risen zombie, endures on his mission of self-discovery. Well, actually we just get to listen in on the thoughts of a freshly dead zombie as he stumbles into "unlife", retaining his thought processes without actually really remembering squat, such as his name. But he does know he's hungry and that people sure do taste good!
A total winner for any zombie or general horror fan.
