OUR MONSTERS was given to me by the author in exchange for my honest review and as a part of his book tour. I was immediately intrigued by the idea of a group of teenagers busting out some mini-monsters from a top-secret military facility so I jumped on board for a fun filled, not always happy, oft wise-cracking teen angst ride!
Extremely well-written and well thought out, I knew right away that this will be a series to follow. I was especially gladdened by Mr. Harding's portrayal of the teenagers in this book. On the surface, they look like the typical rungs on the highschool pecking ladder, but the more you get to know them, the more you see that like every rung on the ladder, each kid has a story. Each kid is a real person with their own personalities, their own problems, their own wants, dreams and desires.
These kids just happen to get into more trouble ...
